Steam Summer sale - 19-30th June

Tempted to spend my pocket money on Rage, I don't play an awful lot of FPS games any more as I started to find them all a bit too repetitive. This one any good?

Meh. It's alright. Find yourself going back to the same areas a lot so suffers from the repetition you dislike.

My first steam sale experiance.

  • Command and Conquer Red Alert 3
  • Terraria
  • Monaco
  • Gunpoint
  • Sins of a solar empire: Rebellion
  • FTL

Am I doing it right?

There's 5 or 6 I have my eye on too, which i'll pick up in the next few days.

Get Hotline Miami at £1.04 then yes. You are doing it very right.

Everyone raves about Don't Starve, I'm mulling it over.

Anyone have any experience of State of Decay? It's got a good metacritic score and is a reasonable price...graphics look a bit consoley though.

Bought Don't Starve yesterday - a fantastic little game, especially for the price.

State of Decay is great - if you like zombie survival, building a base, lots of looting and having 'survivors' who live their own lives (and require food, ammo, fuel etc) then it is for you. Graphics are a little rubbish imo, but the gameplay makes up for it. A little 'consoley', but nothing that bothered me tbh.

I really liked it, but once you reach a certain point it becomes obvious that you're just continuing to play for the sake of it with no real outcome. Also, I found it far too easy which was a little disappointing. It's totally worth £3.74 though for sure.
