Steam Summer sale - 19-30th June

did u buy something using a new credit card or changed your password / email address?

No, it's to do with American tax. I've got a warning that I'm approaching 200 items sold in a year and Valve want me to fill out a form saying I'm not a US citizen. Sounds a bit spooky to me so I just left it.

What are peoples opinion on space engineers? I can't check any gameplay video at the moment but it sounds like a lot of fun, basically minecraft in space.

well thats odd, I've sold 625 items, mostly cards and I've not had anything like that

Once again a poor showing from activision even on the older games, I didn't see anything better than 50%, I really don't know why they even bother.

Metro last night and Wolfenstein both in my basket. Mouse hovering over the buy button...

If you've got unplayed games, don't do it!!
There will be more sales, play the unplayed games first!!!

I've just finished guacamelee, loved it. Really fun game.

Just bought Brothers. Looks unique and is super cheap so I'm giving it a try.

Plus, I'm really into playing games on the big TV with a pad lately.

I took a dive on Divinity: Original sin.

Fancied a different kinda game for once and a new RPG after a friend of mine talked me into getting it. Hopefully its good!

I've spent a lot this time round and I daren't look how much to be honest. Probably some pretty stupid purchases too because in all likelihood, I won't even get round to playing some of them until next sale when they'll be even cheaper.

Picked up:
State of Decay
Prison Architect
Hitman Absolution
Dragon Age Origins (don't know why, I've played it through on console :/)
LA Noire (because the full DLC pack was cheaper than the discounted game so rude not to)
Saints Row IV
Metal Gear Rising
Dishonored DLC
Dragon Commander
Wolfenstein

As for big discounts hurting developers, I've noticed increasingly how DLC doesn't get the same discounts which must at least help them out. There's plenty of games I've bought in steam sales for next to nothing where I've gone onto to buy DLC for them costing more than I spent on the game because I enjoyed it.

Any thoughts on the State of Decay DLC? I'm tempted to get the game but not sure if the DLC are worth it.
