Steam Summer Sale 2011

Anyone that is thinking of getting any games - I would wait until the last day as there are daily deals and the game you buy may be reduced even more :D

Certainly for anything 50% or less. Any games 66% or 75% off already are unlikely to see further reductions. It is probably still worth being patient though :)
 
The only time to be sure the game won't be reduced further is if its over 80%.

66/75 could still go to 85-90%, unless of course that'll be a saving of under 50p in which case why wait unless you're not that desperate.

That's HIGHLY unlikely for any major titles.
 
Is it worth buying the complete pack collections now or waiting? They won't be reduced anymore will they?

Very tempted by the Valve collection as I don't own any of those games having only just built myself a PC that can handle more than displaying webpages.

Always been a console gamer but have now seen the light of PC gaming, so any recommendations on what to pick up in this sale would be great :)

Definately buy it - but wait until last day to avoid dissapointment.
 
I am in 2 minds about MoH. I cant decide if i should buy it or not. The choice will be made for me shortly but am i going to play it? I have just started New Vegas. Argh decisions!
 
You will play it at some point? Plus its short I've heard so might be good for a weekend when your bored :D

I purchased it yesterday and only had time for 2 multiplayer games and found it enjoyable and pretty :)
 
I decided to ignore MOH, just heard to many bad things about it.

Ill wait untill its in the bargain bin somewhere, hoping black ops comes up as i heard thats a fair bit better

I did this in the Steam Xmas sale not long after it first came out and it went from 29.99 to 14.99 as part of the publisher deal but never came up in a daily deal.

I think i'm just going to get it at it's current price. Thanks for the input though, looking forward to getting home from work now :)
