Yeah it's fine single player for a controller. It's multilayer is garbage anyway
amazing single player though

Any online FPS game is a mistake with a controller.

Some people want to chill out on the sofa with a controller because of ease of use, I can't use one myself now but it isn't a mistake if that is what they wanna do, not like they are at a disadvantage when only against AI.
To answer the question on Doom it's very good, if you can get it for under £10 buy it.
It's decent but many players have left it to go onto PlayerGrounds, it also struggles with having decent servers as at least 50% of the playerbase plays those stupid RPG servers.

222 solo hours here for Borderlands 2. I also played it first and then picked up the first one afterwards - don't think I had a lesser experience doing it that way.

Just completed The Cat Lady a few weeks back - it's a great game so I recommend playing it. It's a casual game that I usually saved for last the game I played at night. Also just started Tales from the Borderlands this week and it's really well done. I also picked up Among The Sleep and Firewatch in the sale.

From what I understand as long as the controller connects to your PC it's all good!

yes, my PS4 controllers connect without issue.
I'm very impressed with the steam link, initially it was very laggy, like every 2 seconds it would freeze and load up but after I rebooted it updated again and is now perfect, even on wireless.
Only played Overcooked for a few minutes but I'll be re-downloading some older games to try like Trine, etc.
