Exactly those were a fantastic sales gimmick. Steam refund policy was why they got cancelled and publishers were also concerned with quality games being sold in their opinion too cheaply! But to you me and many others it was a way to buy games you might otherwise skip altogether. Lets face it many games are simply not worth much anymore due to one and done limited gameplay. Flash Sales were a great way for everyone to support PC gaming by taking a chance when it was 75-90% off and I am sure they made way more money by higher volume sales than holding out for longer with a small discount!!
 
Steam page says the summer sale, but it doesn't look like the normal "list of sales" if that makes sense.

^Colours are a bit washed out, but peformance is good and dialogue is a lot better. Although it feels entirely seperate from Mafia 2 and more of a 70's GTA. Still good fun.
