Steam Summer Sale 2017 - 22nd June

Anyone noticed any price switching / increasing? Reason I ask is I had a few cheap games in my wishlist so added 4 of them then when i got back to the checkout it said the prices of one or more of the games had changed. Checked them and nope nothing had changed but steam went from wanting to charge me just under £12 to a whopping £41 :o

very odd. Removed them from the basket and ill go buy them one by one later tonight (if things calm down, still very slow)

Yep, prices changing at will!

Jeez, for the amount of money Valve have, there is no excuse for them not having servers capable of dealing with Steam sale traffic!! Hardly their first rodeo!!
no amount of servers would help them. you got Almost all Steam Users hitting the same Page at the Same Time. They could spend 300 MIllion on servers & it be better wouldnt be perfect. then you got all that hardware wasted till next year...LOt of $$$ wasted

Always does this under heavy load prices are all over the place wait for it to calm down the prices are set already and cannot change until the sale ends only change they can make is cancel the sale price not increase it!

Finally managed to get my £30 of purchases through on Paypal. How does the £5 off/rebate thing work then?

If you successfully added the discount to your PayPal account, it will give you £5 off your next purchase of over £20 on Steam, when you choose to pay with PayPal. Basically, when you get to the PayPal confirmation page, it should show a £5 discount.
