Whilst the Steam sales have declined in quality over the years so have other factors contributed to this number such as the decline of people frequenting forum message boards in favour of Facebook, Twitter and other forms of social media.

I think a lot of it is due to a lot of us on here has already bought most the games we wanted in all the past steam sales..

Wait a second, I know I've been away from pc gaming for several years, but what sorta backyard website is that!?? Offline only play? Gotta be hacked accounts yeah? I'm up for buying cheap keys, but people don't actually use websites like that do they?

I've heard of that website but no way in hell I'd enter my card details on it.

It's not hacked accounts, it's private accounts that are shared, once you purchased the game, you get a code and you download an activator and it registers the game account to your HWID. Some games also work online, such as windows games as you can use your own xbox profile. Been using them for over a year now no issues, they respond fast to any questions too. I bought Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition, RDR2 and Resident Evil 3 from there.

You don't need to enter your card details on there, it uses a secure payment processor you can also use paypal.

Seems super sketchy and pretty dishonest

I bought Dungeon Defenders Awakened, Sayonara Wild Hearts and Firewatch. Got me to £31 and so received the £5 off. Pretty happy with that

Picked up endless space 2, Stellaris and all it's DLC, ELite Dangerous (only because I want to dust off my old HOTAS) and F1 2019 simply because there is no way I am paying 50 notes for the 2020 version when the 2019 version can be had for just over a tenner and I'll play it a bit, probably join some online races ram a few people and then quit anyway :), and then got tower of time for my rpg fix
