I've never played Half Life before, which ones do I need to get?

Do I need Opposing Force and Blue Shift?

Half Life Complete pack is currently 50% off at £13.49. Might go cheaper on a flash or daily sale though

Half life complete collection was on sale 75% the day before steam sale. I think it was £7.50 including all the add ons.

Half life 2, Half life 2 Episode 1&2 but you can get the original if you want to play the whole story but its old and the graphics have a aged a bit!

I'm interested in Bioshock infinite but apparently with a discount code you can get it cheaper on Green Man Games (£12)

However I'm also interested in Dishonoured plus many other games I haven't even thought of yet

I'd go with green man gaming. Really great website. Got many new releases from them for a fraction of the steam price and they haven't failed me once!

Personally wouldn't say it's worth buying on it's own. Past 2 sales they have had every GTA for a fiver.

Yup.. not too impressed with the deals so far. I snapped up that deal last year.

Hi ive only just got a NVidia card after years with ATI and I don't have any PhysX games so could you guys recommend a few goods ones please then if I see them in the Steam sales ill grab a few.

Quite tempted by civ 5 @ 5 quid (gold edition at 7.50 quite tempting too) - never bought a game off steam/steam sale and see a few people saying they will wait until end of sale to see if prices of certain games drop any further - I take it that as civ 5 is currently on a "flash sale" this will be the lowest it will get?

If anyone else also gave it a go, We are new and be on quite a bit over the weekend if anyone wants to join up or anything

Well £7.50 isn't a bad deal and 100% worth the extra cash over the standard edition but I'm pretty sure they had the Gold edition for £4.99 pretty recently (either Steam or Greenman Gaming)

Hmm so maybe wait and see if it drops down again - tho 2.50 isnt a big loss if it does drop though

yes it wont go any lower than taht the general rule is if its on flash sale,comunity choice or the main sake choices on the front page they wont go lower any others wait to see if they go into the above categories if they dont buy them at the last sale day

It normally tells you when you go to purchase the pack but I'm pretty sure the games you already own will go into your inventory to give to friends
