Only as an introductory price though to try and get people to buy the stuff.

They are a little late to the new age Cider game, that shipped sailed a few summers ago. The only reason I can think that they have brought this to the market is that the Wife Beating Stella drinking 'simple man', probably wouldn't be caught dead buying and drinking Cider... they might change their mind when it's got Stella on the bottle as they won't look like a pansy.

Personally though I think it's going to struggle against established brands like Magners, Bulmers and Brothers.

Should fit in nicely with those three though as they're all rank. Thatcher's, Stowford, good traditional ciders are where it's at. Proper cider should be held in the same regard as real ale, it's not a lager substitute.

Yes, but as I pointed out in my post I said 'new age' Ciders, as in the current Ciders that the majority of young people drink and are far out selling the traditional ciders.

If you like a traditional cider then good for you, but that's not what sells these days.
