Steve Fossett Missing: Help find him by searching satellite imagery

If you've still got the screen up then copy and paste the co-ordinates here so we can take a look then click yes and report the details.

Oh yes, I have found a plane in the middle of nowhere, here's a printscreen:

If you look at the full-sized picture, there are the coordinates, but I'm not sure how to write them out or use them, hope this picture is helpful...

The coordinates at the bottom are correct, the ones in the fly-to bar are different...

It looks far too small to be mid flight, it would have to be 5-10 feet off the ground for it to appear close to that...

I think that's in-flight, hard to tell with the small PS, I suggest you find out where you have to report it, and report it.

Richard Branson said he had one of those watches that emits a signal, I assume it's one of those where you remove the winder to start the beacon. Doesn't sound too promising if that hasn't been activated.

I checked it in relation to a house a few miles away at the same height with the ruler and it was quite a bit smaller than the house, could this be possible if it was in-flight...

Why would his emergency GPS beacon not be transmitting a signal? Surley they're built to withstand air crashes.

to me it sounds like he had some sort of heartattack or something along those lines that meant he was dying whilst in air and not able to activate anything as trying to land, and if he has had a good landing no emergency beacons would be activated and if he has landed badly into say a mountain then the beacon wouldn't exist no more either.

tbh i think there should be a tidy reward if someone finds him from using this, would attract a lot more visitors

if no one has heard off him and nothing is transmitting then its very unlikely he survived or anything thats large enough to be noticible on google earth survived (planes prob in tiny bits), not a nice way to go :(
