because hardware is the be all of end all, or perhaps not. How about identical hardware, but the device isn't the slightest bit the same.

Typing words is a form of written communication. To type a sentence out is still writing, you don't need a pen to write, that's why writing with a pen is called "hand-writing".

Negative, I couldn't care less about Apple or whatever the brand. Technology is there to serve me not for me to get emotionally attached to it . It amuses me that you think I care otherwise as does reading this thread.

How do you know some have them haven't looked at the alternatives?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S and Asus Transformer but with both choices it was a very hard decision.
I would have had an iPhone if I could have got the same deal as the SGS and there is stuff that the iPad has got that I can't get for the Transformer so it was a very close call.
My eldest daughter wants a new iPhone so I asked why not go Android because she used a San Fransisco for a month and has messed with my SGS.
She said she prefers an iPhone and its nothing to do with looking cool in front of her mates.
I know plenty of people who of done their homework and gone the Apple way.

Yet you felt the need to come into the thread and claim that you found it sad that people like Apple products and were mourning the loss of Jobs.

If you couldn't care less you wouldn't then have made your blanket statement and continued to come back to inform people they're all wrong for their opinions and choices of gadgets.

PS: As an Apple user I can't remember ever going into a Windows thread, telling everyone that they're all idiots or sheep for buying Windows and using non-apple products and then continuing to go back into the thread to counter arguments to what would have been a ridiculously ignorant statement.

i don't think it has even ever happened. yet it happens all the time in the apple section or threads to do with apple.

Cba to read the thread, but Tim Cook(I think is his name, the new CEO) has been running things for a while now so the only thing that will change is share prices going down, because everyone thinks Steve Jobs was running it single handedly.
