I think we all know what the outcome of Anthony/Emily being in any video would be and neither they nor Linus & Co wants to deal with it.
 
Not surprised by this, I made some comments before about how GN appear to have turned in to some holier-than-thou outfit. I knew it would backfire eventually. It’s boring this stance GN is taking, always wanting to appear to be morally superior and the self appointment police of the tech world. You can’t go from hit piece to hit piece and not expect something eventually to come round and bite you.

Personally I think they should stick to reviews which they excel at and leave the drama, because it’s stupidly boring.

Well I skim read the letter and it might as well be some goddam office drama I'm peeking in on.

Yes this gets some attention but it's the cringe kind of attention farming.
 
I too enjoyed Anthony's videos, the few we got anyway. pitty Linus didn't let him be presenter on more of them before he disappeared off the face of the earth

See the problem here is that as Linus himself has said if a channel doesn't continue to grow it effectively starts getting punished by the algorithm.

There's only so many viewers technical channels of any sort which is why LMG pumps out mostly surface level stuff with a shiny exterior which is not really something GN can do (not that he/they even want to) so the only remaining avenue (I don't believe it's intentional, but whatever) is to rage bait/dramafarm which sadly the single most profitable enterprise on YouTube beyond ad-friendly kid-focused content.

It's kind of sad really that this is how youtube functions but it's base human nature at it's core which demands negativity.
