If one part is refused as out of stock do we still have to go through with the rest of the order regardless or do we get the option to cancel at that point

You've got 7 days from delivery under the DSA to cancel anyway.

Hi there

Think there is a problem, looks like the NET connection is down at the office as we had like only 1-2 of those cards, yet it remains on sales where so many of you have ordered so the NET connection looks to be broken at HQ.

They have definetely all gone along with the other 7800 bargains so don't bother ordering. Those who have ordered will be upgraded to anything equal or superior in stock B-Grade/Clearance wise and others will be refunded.

I take it you will be confirming any changes to the order before just sending stuff out.

Any idea about the 7800GS AGP? I ordered at 19:30 and a friend ordered about 5-10min later :)

If its another 7800 GT or 7800 GTX then no, because at £80 I doubt anyone will be bothered, its an absolute steal. All others will be refunded.

I am not looking forward as tomorrow I can forsee having to do about 30-50 refunds, possibly more if some people have tried ordering vast amounts........

Well there is literally only 1-2 items of everything. Some of the motherboards have better stocks but in general its just odd pieces here and there, so assume if you know there has been 2 or more orders for stock to be all gone.

Its obvious HQ NET connection has failed which means the LIVE STOCK indicator system will now not funtion until I go back in the office tomorrow.

Yeah it's a pity you get those idiots who buy in bulk with the sole intention of selling them on to make profit.

I'm still not sure what you mean though. I ordered the XFX 7800GT, does that mean you'll refund me or just send something similar?

I would much rather be contacted and refunded as I was going to order an X1900XTX but I put that off a few months when I saw this deal.

Cheers

doh, I knew it couldnt be right that they had that many of everything. I put through my order just in case, was a big one because I never even owned a pci-e system before so I took the opportunity to buy a few things.
Nice fantasy shopping trip I guess :p I will phone tommorow or do one of those webnotes, not hopefull.
Iam way too indecisive for all this rush buying :o

Its a pretty crappy ordering system if it lets people buy endless amounts of them when theres only 1-2. Surely its designed to reject orders after the amount of allocated stock runs out?

Yeah, but he said the link to the office was down so the system wouldn't have known they were running out.

It would have been common sense to enter the amount of stock into the system to prevent these errors. It should be done like that for all clearance products. Ocuk have had a few problems like this before because of their poor organisation with the ordering system.
