Strange and exotic things you've eaten

Well, I won't tell you what my beloved OH tries to put into my mouth then..................

Anyway, can anyone tell me how to smoke salmon, coz mine keeps going out.
 
i once had a chicken in spain. spanish chicken, right? exotic...?

i accidentally ate squid once. never again.

Squid taste nice though.

squids tasteless though, and the texture makes me feel like im eating lubricated rubber

I agree but when you add spices to it and seasoning it becomes something exquiste. If you can tonight, try and order a "sea food mix" of some sort from your local chinese.

Do you know what im thinking of when you said lubricated rubber.....a condom! :p

thats exactly what i thought you would think!!! and no, i dont eat them :) not even the flavoured ones..

the only squid i had was in a cheap ''squid-ring'' (imitation onion ring)
 
ostrich
shark
squid (both cooked and as sushi)
springbok
zebra
kangaroo (we love you Skippy!)
wild boar
yak
goat

and some meat of unknown origin in Egypt.
 
I've had a goat's head curry in Northern Greece. Possibly not nearly as exotic as some of the dishes mentioned, but it sticks in my memory.

The cheeks were nice and meaty, I gave up when they started on the tongue, and eyes.......
