Stranglehold Demo Up Xbox 360

I didn't really like it. To be fair though it might just be the games that come from Midway, I've never liked any of their stuff.

whats the frame rate like?

is it easy to control like max payne?
it seems very smooth i was gonna get it for pc but now i think xbox360 will be great on it. The controls are very easy no probelm whatsoever, it just feels right :)

been on holiday for a week so only just downloaded it last night.

was fun but I thought max pain did it better IMHO, graphics I thught were pretty week and in this type of game they need to be bang on the money to lift it out of the pack.

wont be buying it, but it was mildly diverting.

Some bits it was really frantic, I could imagine it being quite a payne to control with the mouse and keyboard, but as blakes said the controls are spot on. There is a small amount of auto aim asists, but i turned it off and seems to work a little better, for me anyway.

Buying it low and selling it on the bay after finishing sounds like a good idea.
I finally d/l it last night due to massive boredom and thought it was quite fun with some nice ideas. It hasn't come upto the standard of the screenshots first shown imo but then even the video footage at the end looked slightly more polished than the demo. The framerate only hitched occasionally but that was when masses of fruit and stalls were being blown to bits. :D

Thing is it says 7 levels at the end and thats not a lot, I cant see it being long enough to justify the price. This will hold me off buying it for the moment.

Oh and it needs more blood, considering what film its based on.

I really enjoyed this. The demo seems to offer more scope for being creative and variety than Max Payne - loads of cool ways to kill bad guys, of which there are far more, much longer fights, bigger areas, more 'traps'. Death animations and stuff flying and blowing up everywhere looks great. If the full game is more of the same it's a must buy for me.

Have you tried it on Hard Boiled difficulty? Makes the game last a lot longer. Also I think the achievements will help replayability.

just got back from my hols and tried this. Great game, loved it!, love the precision aiming and animations they show when getting shot, great controls also, looking forward to this when out

Wasn't impressed with it at all tbh, thought it was a below par game. Graphics were alright, but it felt rushed and the features in there are way too basic, like the heal function?! I'm sorry but they shouldn't have done this game without looking at Max Payne 1 and 2 first, these were real "bullet-time" games and both very well made. This is a shoddy re-make of a guy whose films have been damn awesome.
