Yes, I have a PS3 Madcatz SE stick and it works ok, the 360 ones work ok too.
I have a spare SEGA USB pad because I bought 2.It's brand new and still sealed in the box, the one I opened was tested and works with PS3 and PC.
If anyone is interested just email me.

I won't take it off your hands as I'm not in the UK, but can you tell me how these pads feel? I usually like to try peripherals/controllers hands on before I buy.... Recommended?

It's very small and light, but definately worth it if you can pick it up cheap. It's decent enough for games like SF because the d-pad is very good. I haven't used mine that much so I can't tell you how good the quality is or how long they last but for a cheap controller just for SF, I would get this.
If you want to pay quite abit more then go for the madcatz ones but they have had so many problems it's probably not worth it, best off just buying a fightstick.

why ? it's a great game but you really need a good arcade stick to get good at it

Been playing the game and its pritty crappy imho.
the controls for instance dont play this game with a 360 controller cause its hard as hell to pull the moves off.
also i think there is a crossfire bug with this game
it will be constantly all maxed out at 1920x1200 all in game settings maxed 8xaa 16xaf
and when you get to certain maps your frames will rapidly drop from 60s to 30s
then once that happens its like playing in slow motion lol and no way to fix it untill you restart the game, then it happens again on the same map or on certain maps....
though i havent tryed disableing one of my cards to see if that fixes it.

Trying to use the xbox360 controller for a game like this is asking for trouble...

The controls in this game are absolutely fine, its just the 360 controller isn't all that for beat em ups, doesn't make the game crap at all. I know someone who's damn good with the 360 pad, really don't know how he does it.
You obviously need to drop the AA settings, it should run smooth at 60fps unless you have it set to higher than your PC can handle. Most the comments I've read about this game say how well it runs on most systems.
