Im tempted to pick this up tomorrow and hook up my old namco stick, see if I am crap with a stick now or if it was just the Hori EX2 I didnt like

What didn't you like about the EX2? I was thinking of buying that one

Edit: Just ran benchmark, ran at 1920x1200 with everything maxed out ran perfect. Looks freaking amazing compared to the console, extremely sharp and clear.

It seemed very light, hollow and plasticky to me

need to find the USB adapter before I can crack out the Namco stick tho ><

Having higher than 60fps won't make any diff in the actual game as it's locked to 60fps with or without vsync even when fps is set to "variable"

It's to keep fluid especially online I guess!

Interesting. The 360 disc was dual layered at 6.5GB(ish) and this PC ver fits on a single layer disc. Optimisation?

On installation it asks you for a "Live Access Code".

Compression on the installer/disc and then uncompressed once the game is installed on the hard drive perhaps?

and when you get to certain maps your frames will rapidly drop from 60s to 30s
then once that happens its like playing in slow motion lol and no way to fix it untill you restart the game, then it happens again on the same map or on certain maps....

Have you got vsynch on?

I just pre-ordered this from the jungle place. I watched the demo, and thought I could do without it. I went to cancel, but it's too late. Looks like I'll have to have it after all! I used to love the SF series, my favourite being Alpha 3. SF4 has to go a long, long way to beat it IMO, and hopefully it will.

I'm very rusty now, but I used to be pretty damn good.

Trust me, it does beat it. Alpha 3 was my best SF, until SF4 stepped onto the scene.
