I don't think you can avoid people with macros as you can map any button on any pad how you like. I tried a spare PS2 USB pad for example that is 3rd party with turbo buttons and stuff and it worked fine. Other pads have macro features so mapping moves would not appear to be a problem.

I'd rather play with people I know though (or form here) instead of randoms online because cheaters are all over the place!

Wouldn't be any different on the consoles I'd have though with 3rd party pads with onboard Macro recording since they use standard USB connections too?

Fair point, would have thought most people on consoles would've used the standard pads. How is the population for online games on the PC version?

From what I've heard about the retail copy you don't need to use Live at all if you don't want to, and when installing you can chose not to install.

Well this is good...I got this on pre-order from a certain online shop named after a Brazilian rainforest...and today it has not arrived yet it shows it was dispatched yesterday. Therefore it should be here today!! Anyone else had the same problem?

Normally most chains say allow 1-3 days for delivery from dispatch. It's certainly not unusual.

But I chose First Class delivery...ordered on 1st July. I ordered two DVD boxsets from the same place on Monday...they arrived on Wed...and those were FREE delivery...

Which would you go for?

Complete Street Fighter 'virgin' but loving the technicalities of the game, just wish I could be more accurate/precise/reliable with the pad so I can hit quarter turns when I need to, not 50% of the time. From what i've a stick will go a long way to helping.
