Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

How would it work as DLC though..?
Would the game check that your opponent has the DLC installed, and if not, you can't choose those chars?

no it would be like they do in forza, you download the dlc regardless but cant access it until paid, but since its on your hdd you will have all the textures/animations if the opponent has it and you dont. so you will be able to see it and they will be able to select it
- if its alex im all over this.
 
gotta be rolento or maybe sodom. but i would have prefered mika or karin

EDIT: actually they gotta have the best character ever in skullomania!

Elena from SFIII. My top pick at least since I love her and they need a character to represent Africa.

Birdie from the first and Alpha games.

If Capcom were just really cheap about it, then Juni and Juli or Yun and Yang.
 
Just had some games with Artheas. He is an excellent player and took me to the cleaners with 11 wins in a row. I won the first match though ;)

I haven't really played SSF4 in months, only started again last weekend but its good to comeback to it. Shame the tourney mode wasn't popular, I missed that.
 
I got some good Abel experience from those games :) some of them were really close too

About headbutt into ultra - have you tried delaying the ultra motion, and double(or triple) tapping KKK? I had a few problems with it too initially.

I think it looks great and has the potential to be a lot of fun.

It looks like its got the core SF gameplay, with hints of TvC.

I personally still love playing SSF4, and the few times i've played TvC have been so much fun, so i have high hopes for this.

Can't wait for this at MvC3, they really are spoiling us!

Never really got into it, just messing around trying to parry everything, but it looks like i'll be giving this a shot too.
 
oh dear at sf v tekken - worst idea ever. looks like namco sold themselves out big time - theres zero tekken gamplay whatsoever its all on the sf engine.
the 3rd Strike online announcement is much bigger for me tbh

There will be 2 games, 1st "StreetFighter x Tekken" (mainly developed by Capcom) which, predictably, will be based on milking the SF4 engine some more with (Tekken chars).

Then there will be "Tekken x StreetFighter" (mainly developed by Namco) which, presumably, will be in reverse (based on Tekken 6 engine maybe?) although no video of that was shown.

I'd be interested to see how Tekken x Street Fighter will work out, especially for the Street Fighter characters since projectiles don't exactly work too well, or just aren't common enough in 3D-pane fighting games, apart from maybe ridiculous special or boss characters.

Maybe this will be a chance to see Street Fighter characters portrayed and adapted in a more realistic 3D fighter approach. For example, Hadoken's could become some close range palm attack, Tatsumaki Senpukyaku's would be a double jump spin kick (Without the flying) or something.

3rd Strike Online Edition is a great addition, although lag might pose some problems with the parrying. Either way, it is about time though. I hope one day we could see Alpha 3 get the same treatment.

Blind? Did you not see that people now hit walls and obviously it seems the Tekken characters will still have launchers, Kazuya seemed to.
