Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Decided to trade in Red Dead Redemption for this whilst the price was still high and got this for £14.99. Used to have SF4 on the PS3 which I chose due to the d-pad, did get an arcade stick but was already too far into competitive play with my mate that the continual losses left me returning to the controller :p

Now got it for the 360 and finding the analogue stick 'ok' and passable, but still only execute moves maybe 3/5 times.

One question I do have is the multiplayer side of things, played last night and could barely find a match (and only matches I did find I was completely outskilled) but put that down to the time of the night. Trying now and its still the same, few matches in 1v1 but none if I narrow the search to same skill, none at all in team battle and endless battle theres a fair amount but I wanna play a bit more continuously rather than wait around. Anyone got any tips or known fixes, or is the online a bit sparse nowadays?
 
No, not at all. The simple ones are more than enough. What characters do you use? Hopefully you're not another Rykenuma player.
 
been playing with dudley a lot but also keen to try cody although i also have a special spot for ken. i rarely play as him unless im doing the combo challenges

speaking of the challenges. how to you do codys hp,ex zonk knuckle combo. i cant pull off the last bit

you have to hold lp and mp, release them after the hp lands.

and against Artheas , you have to put him on the defensive and make him think. and dont give him many chances for mix-ups, because he is good at comboing, so the chances are he will hit you with a full combo everytime he has a chance. dont worry, he always beats me at well. what's your xbox live name? maybe we can have a few games too.:D

btw, ggs Artheas. shame it was lagging like mad. but i loved our synchro movement with abel, the double roll and focus attack were just class :)

and i think i finally got the idea of fighting rufus, chun li's s. lp seems to beat his dive kick everytime. although i am actually trying to learn how to anti air with d/f. lk, but i didnt get much chance to do it, because of lag.

Theres an xbox 360 at home waiting for me, just need a copy of super now! I am well out of practice though, my samsung telly needs repairing therefore haven't logged onto PS3 in daysss!
 
Got super sf4 and 3 months live. Recovered my GFWL account that I used on the PC, if anyone wants to play ON THE 360 :p sign on and send me an invite! ;)
 
Didn't try yet, recovered my pc account and grabbed the 3 months with super while I was out. On way home now, few games in 15 mins?

Just accepted and sent you invite, playing with arth at the moment. Rav vanished quite rapidly once my Guile was getting into full swing... :p;)

edit: I have the standard mic atm, can I use that if I am using a TE stick?
