Hmm I would say that is true. It's quite easy to get straight into if you have played previous sf games, but it's also quite technical in areas with the whole focus attack system.

Best thing I can suggest is going into trial mode and practising the moves over and over first, then jump online and get your backside handed to you over and over again and you will start to pick it up. :p

Just had an awesome session with a 4000PP player, who was on 16000BP with Dhalsim and about 9000BP with Cody. I couldn't beat his Dhalsim but I was taking rounds of him and most rounds were very close, all those games vs Rav definately helped because if I played this guy afew months ago I would have been pummelled. He then went to Cody and Ken, again really good with them but I was taking games off him with Akuma - I lost count of the amount of DEMONS I landed :D

I'll get the highlights up tomorrow :) he was much better then me but he msg'd me at the end acknowledging the good close games, I was managing to hold my own against him. He's also on my friends list now so hopefully I'll get to learn some more from playing him.

I did alright against his Sim, the next few vids I didn't do so well...

I liked the little combo I did in the second round and since I was gonna upload me vs overmostheads -where I didn't win one game vs his Sim, I felt I should put this one in aswel. :p

Ok there are 3 parts, me vs overmostheads. He has a really good Dhalsim, I look fwd to playing him again in the league.

I am just in the middle of a session with omh and another 10k Cody player, both guys are in a different class to me with their combos etc but I've actually won afew. I'm holding my own against them, its just as good seeing them both go at it against each other.

Arth use to land it on me over and over, and I never figured out how to dodge it. Afew months later when I had enough of it I asked him and he said 'jump'. :rolleyes::p

If you set it up when they are expecting a throw you will land it even on guys 4k PP or above, its worked time and time again on players far better then me just because I know they expect me to throw. Worked again on some 10k Cody guy afew times, I had no chance with Ryu against him, was getting leathered but I took him out with Akuma... omh is my witness. :p

Hyv we haven't played for awhile, well I haven't played your Chun for absolutely ages! Can't even remember the last time. Sometime this week yeah?

GGs to GodLikeSpeed and Overmostheads for that very enjoyable session even though I was on the receiving end of a beating for most of it! Always up for some more. :)
 
The Akuma super has 0 startup frames, its like Geifs ultra. If done point blank and you havent already jumped you are getting hit. His ultra doesnt work like this, you have the chance to jump, I just happened to try tech... every single time. lol ggs nice session we just had
 
i rarely play chun li nowadays, but i might unleash her just for you :) i am on every day as you would know

funny enough i have played godlikespeed before, cant remember what character he use against me though because i have no video this time.

He's only ever used Cody against me, 10k BP and 3.5K PP. He has very good combos, but was struggling to beat overmostheads Dhalsim.
 
everyone struggles against a good sim, unless he/she is a good abel, seth or cammy player. sim is generally a bad match for cody anyway
