Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

If you don't take it seriously its ok.
I got the whopping 4MB patch and have been playing it a little offline.
Seems like Tekken characters are just better than SF now they nerfd Cody.

Am trying the combo of Jin (just god like) & Hwoarang atm... also my TTT2 team.

Tend to play SF4 on PC now as I got fed up of paying for xbox live as SF is the only game I play online.

The patch has done quite a bit to fix the game, I actually liked SFxT back when people said it was terrible the only reason I stopped playing is because I didn't really have anybody to play with. I like the game even more now though, a lot of local players have picked it back up again too which is nice so I'll have some people to play against. I think I'm actually starting to favour it over AE.. *hides*

I have to second what Drunzer Said, not about it replacing AE though lol, but it has become a better game since the update. I have no quams in saying I hated it when I first got it.

I have only come back to it since the update, also the big factor was my guy Cody is in it now :D. I dont know what he was like before they nerfed him as I wouldn't touch the game until the update was released (incase the update made it cack) and Im glad as I think he is beast in this game.

But AE would still be my fav. Im also maining Adon now like him a lot.

I haven't played in little while because Im actually having lots of fun with SFxT. :)

I just sold my stick, didn't see any point in keeping it because I hadn't touched it in almost 4 months. No free time at all atm but hopefully I'll be back next year! :)

haha, should have sell it to me! honestly though my stick is dying fast. 4 of the 6 buttons you need to play is not responding half the time:(

If it is, it's only just below SFIV in that list.

It's the only game you play!

agree.

the new sfxt is quite fun, have been playing that for a good week. it seem like i have forgotten how to play, that if i knew how to begin with lol, dont know how to use meter and struggling against just about everyone (i blame that on ravl's hugo flubbing around and sending me to die all the time). what i like about it is, its very fair. it has no comeback factor so that a nice change from umvc3 (which is still by far the most fun game). the team i am using now is heihachi and paul, lots of priority on their (jump) attacks and easy combos into big damage.

i dont agree, chun li, sim and rolento still beats most tekken cast free imo and the shotos are still very strong.

Don't you think XBL kind of sucks for SFxT? Just feels weird to me, not nearly as good as AE. I used to play SFxT on PSN and believe it or not it actually felt much better there..for me personally anyway. I don't know when I'm coming back to Marvel, I'm trying to get through a backlog of games for both PS3 and 360 so I'm not playing fighting games much. AE and SFxT are keeping me going right now but I do want to get back to Marvel, it's my favourite fighting game but it's also the most difficult I think to stay sharp at.

I'm working on a new team (keeping Akuma that's it) and it will probably require quite a bit of training mode time, maybe a few weeks I guess.

i use to think xbox live is laggy, but thats before i played my friend's ps3.

Normally I would agree for pretty much every other fighting game (especially Marvel it's simply unplayable on PSN) but for some reason I've having a worse experience on XBL for SFxT, pretty frustrating as I would like to play the game more online..it's really one of them games where match up experience is everything cause the Tekken characters are very scary if you don't know how to play against some of them.

weird. i dont like the roll back netcode of sfxt anyway. it makes the characters teleport everywhere all the time. even offline, marvel is unplayable on ps3, have you seen that slow down video in the tournaments with the soul fist spam?
