Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

I thought there was a fleshed out story mode coming around June?

There is. There's actually a number of things missing at launch, most of it arriving in March with the story mode then in June. All free updates, I don't have the time right now so I'm happy to wait a little while until the game is a little more complete.

Talking of which any tips for getting into these fighting games?

* Find a character you enjoy playing.
*Learn combos
*Master max damage combos
*Learn your characters best pokes
*Learn to hit confirm
*Plays lots
*Read and Watch[shoryuken is a great vat of knowledge - including character specific stuff //a mountain of Youtube videos: Yogaflame24 / CapcomFightersTV / Bafael // Live Tournaments on Twitch: Teamsp00ky / Nycfurby / capcomfighters]
*Play people offline. SFV rollback netcode was horrible in the beta, fingers crossed it has been improved a bit. Tonnes of groups to join and play.

Hi all, really keen on playing with some people here on the forums. My game is all pre-loaded and ready to go, I'll post up my ID when ready.

I'll likely be maining Chun Li (she was my girl in SFIV), so be on the lookout!

My Shopto.net order for to PC version hasn't been shipped yet :( I ordered it last week. I should have stuck to the usually CD Key sites.

From what I've played and from a noob point of view so far my Favourites are:

1) Chun-Li
2) Nash
3) Rashid

Least favorite is F.A.N.G.

Do extra characters get added to these games as DLC or is what you get on release it usually?

We're getting a new character once a month (except Evo Month - June) till the end of the year.

you can pay for them, or earn in game dollar to unlock.

First one is Alex from SF3 in March.

That's great, something to keep me interested, I like that :)

OK so it's best to find one character and stick to that?

I'm struggling to even get a combo at the moment :) hopefully one of my mates will get this tomorrow and show me how it's supposed to be played as opposed to the way I usually play it!

In the training bit it mentioned a "trigger" yet I still have no idea what that does?
