They've only said (so far) that they will be making more to match the pre-orders (which exceed 3000 "many, many times" according to their rep). They are already going on the famous auction house for ~£200.

Personally I didn't want to gamble that I wouldn't get one, so bought it.

I think its ridiculous that people on the famous auction house have buy it nows for £255.
I know there are hardcore SF players out there but I doubt they would put as much money towards a stick which could effectively go towards a full blown new console!

any reviews out for the normal edition of the stick? i heard its really easy to mod, so an option could be to go that route... however if its good enough then maybe i can just leave it as is

The TE stick is easily to Mod and there are rumours that the standard stick should be as well, but that hasn't been 100% confirmed.
