***STREETFIGHTER IV LEAGUE (PC)***

We played 3 games of each five rounds...

It should be 2 games, each person hosts 1 game, each game is best of 5 rounds.

So, please can you give me the scores of both games with the name of the person hosting first, you can decide between yourselves which 2 games out of the 3 you want to count...

Ok, in that case, first game he won 3x i won 1x so 3-1 for skeet.
2nd game it was 3-1 for skeet iirc.

Edit:
Hmm so you want us to play another game but then with skeet hosting? Ok.
So far 3-1 tho...

Oh, arteas just beat me 3-2 on my game and 3-0 iirc on his game.

Round 1 to me vs snowdog, my away game (he hosted).

Yes scores were.

I won 3/5
I won 3/5
I won. 3/5

Round 2 to me vs snowdog my away game he hosted.

Yes scores were.

I won 3/5
I won 3/5
I won. 3/5

Thats about it. :)

So u want the 3rd match vid?

Eh thought it was best of 5 rounds per match, grr. Do we need to retake?

That is a v confusing way of putting it, I really have no idea what all the 3/5's mean.

Please read the rules its just 2 games, so your score should be something like this:

player A 3 - 2 player B
player B 3 - 2 player A

This shows 2 games, each best of 5 rounds with player A hosting the first and player B hosting the second.

snowdog and skeeter, come online for our games! I have been having a bad day today so its a good time to beat me if you want. :)

Artheas, please continue posting the vids its good to watch, but please post your scores and confirm them also! Thanks mate.

I cant host as snowdog cant join me duno why. Others can usually join me tho.

3/5 means 3 round winds out of 5 possible rounds per match.

I couldnt join you either, I will try again now. Also please use the format I suggested above to post scores because 3/5 tells me you won 3 rounds but it doesn't tell me how many rounds the opponent won.

3-0 or 3-1 or 3-2 is easier and simpler. :)

You wanna try again? I'm signing in now.

e36Adz 3-0 SkeeterPSA
SkeeterPSA 0-3 e36Adz

ggs mate, unlucky, I could tell you were struggling to deal with the cross ups and FA's so made full use of them :p

What was the score between you and snowdog then? I'll just watch the first 2 vids you posted and take the scores from them yeah.

Snowdog 1-3 SkeeterPSA
SkeeterPSA 3-2 snowdog (even though snowdog hosted this aswel, who hosted the third game you had, if it was snowdog I will use that result)

Only, we just played a round again this time on skeets as host and it was this :

So:
3-1
1-3
We both lost on our own hosted games.

It can be done with 100% success rate with only a couple of minutes practice, some people find LK+HK (hold) ~ LP easier to do.

What I mean by difficult teching is that you will have a bigger grab range than them, and can train them to tech at this further distance, resulting in whiffed throws that you can punish.

I see what you mean now, that would only apply for more advanced players who anticipate a kara throw coming. A lot of Gouken players arent even aware of the kara throw, and even less use it. I think its safe to say i'm not advanced enough for that way of thinking to even come to mind, and the vast majority of my opponents (onlin randoms) even less so :p
Of course, once you can do the kara throw 99%+ of the time, there's no reason NOT to use it.

Gouken's back throw does have a ridiculously large tech window though :(

You need to be wary of your back throw -> juggle -> demon flip grab as not many people will be caught out by that offline and it can be punished severely.

Do you stick with the Hurricane Kick?
I wasn't sure how punishable it was exactly so did some quick testing. A certain popular character can punish it big time, although other chars might just get 1 counter hit in.
If you think they know what you're going to do, you could try roundhouse demon flip into dive kick/armor, and punish their failed counter after you flip over them :p

Yeah it's much more useful offline and as you said, you may as well do it every time if you can :)

The back throw tech is a huge weakness, it's so rare that you get a non-teched throw of any sort offline and the tech window on his back throw means you NEVER get to use it :(

Depends how fruity I'm feeling, a good thing to do after you do the juggle mixup once is to bait an attack the second time you do it :D

I was just surprised that you did the same thing twice in the same round, but I guess if you felt like you were safe from punishment then it's definitely a damaging routine.
