Thanks :) Shame it went downhill in the second fight :p Ive played againt Artheas a few times before this, hes a good player and really stepped up his game in the last month or so. Well played mate :D

Good games, although we actually had 2 fights before those on the vids, one of which Sprout won 3-2. Best fight of the lot, but i forgot to hit the record button for that one :(

If i remember correctly, i ate a Super and at least 2 Ultras in those 2 initial fights, which made me think that when the league ends, i'll be getting the 'Ultra Combo Test Dummy' award :o

There is actually still 1 space in the table and since it's really easy to add someone, I have no problem with you entering. Add everyone to your friends list and try get 1-2 games done by this weekend if possible though please mate. :)

edit2: There is no prize money up for grabs :p;)

So for a person who has never played any form of fighting game is this one easy to pick up and would it be fun, or could I be overwhelmed?

I've been thinking the same about my own play after looking back at the matches. It's pretty much the same stuff over and over.. though this probably seems worse than it is because of how we need to stick to 1 char (which i like), and also how all videos except 1 are of Gouken -.-

Well since you're on the PC forum, this is pretty much the only up-to-date fighting game you can pick up :p
I'd say it was easy to pick up, and you can definitely survive without doing anything advanced. You can choose to only play others with roughly the same skill level as you, so if you were to be overwhelmed, it would only be initially as you're learning the game.
