Streets of Rage 4

Good spot with the link, I suspect it will probably show up later in the day on the UK store/app.

Funnily enough the Steam page looks broken at the moment, no option to buy and people having difficulty unlocking it. Maybe a **** up with the release times?

Aus store will let you install in the UK, no region botching needed. Result considering I had bought on CDKeys and it got refunded!

I re-played through the others over the last few weeks, so while I am old compared to when I played them first time around, my view still stands that out of the box this is too difficult. Obviously it’s far easier if you enable the modifiers to give yourself extra lives, but I think that’s a far lazier approach than the developers actually making this a game that gets progressively more challenging. They could take a leaf out of the Ori games for example.
 
Yes it's hard, took me 3 goes to get into it and beat the first level :)

Did the second first go though, but bad ranks :)

Then again I've not played these since the arcades.
 
Well took 10 mins to do stage 1 and got 14k points, some how a world leader score is 13xxxx and no idea how that could happen unless found a glitch to horde points. Was axel.

I used normal mode and yeah wasnt that hard just punch walk into em to grab then pound then do the special to keep getting 20 hit combos.

Btw if u try using discord screen share the game keeps crashing as was gona show some mates on discord the game but couldnt cos of the crashing. Soon as i stopped trying to stream it on there it worked ok.

Is it just me or are all the video options missing?

Game feels pretty good so far, even the rumble effect on the controller is satisfying. I found Axel to be a little too slow in some situations, Cherry is fun to play though, I'm having a much easier time with her. Certainly looking forward to a proper sit down with it in the evening.
 
This is great, everything is right imo, the combat etc is definitely true to it's roots. Music, sound effects, everything is spot on.

Like that some of the cops are called "Dick" as well :p
