At least someone is, the leap China have taken in going from no human space flight ability to a space station in such a short time is remarkable, I for one am very impressed and hope it gets more countries involved.

If only it would get us involved - then we could do it with a shed, a good pub and a few pints of bitter ;)

Really though, every time we've done something in space it's turned out great, or had amazing potential. It's just that, historically, since our economy has been propped up by the Americans and they're not too keen on us being a 'competitor' for them... Hell, we could have been seeing HOTOL launches by now if it wasn't for the infamous duo - Thatcher and Regan.
