I heard it was Brexit.
Maybe Greta? Maybe the London Mayor, I can't be bothered checking how to spell his name?

They better sort out all the delays by end of the week. I'm flying back to UK in a weeks time and then out again on Friday.
Going to be hours or days until this much disruption works it way through the system though. What a day to have it happen.

If it wasn’t for ignore, I’d also be subjected to the viewpoint from the 1950s, Rivers of blood and all

I should have been more specific obviously, I’ll illustrate for clarity…
Without ignore I’d have to read the viewpoint that originates from:
* The 1950’s
* The rivers of blood speech
* The Sallop agricolarian society

I've had his nonsense on ignore for months but occasionally I like to see what racist, sexist, xenophobic tripe he's come up with so I treat myself and click the "show ignored content" button.
Sadly it's always disappointing as he doesn't seem to be able to post anything interesting or funny anymore.
Shame really, he used to be quite funny but as the dementia or whatever it is he's suffering from takes over he's just getting worse.

Under UK law, those affected have legal rights which oblige the airlines to provide support to customers flying from a UK airport, arriving in the country on an EU or UK airline, or arriving at an EU airport on a UK airline.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) website says that in the case of a 'significant delay', the airline must provide a reasonable amount of food and drink, commonly in the form of vouchers, refunds for the cost of calls, and accommodation for passengers stuck overnight and transport to a hotel or their home.
The CAA accepts airlines are sometimes unable to organise such support, so passengers should make their own 'reasonable' arrangements and keep receipts to claim money back, but the authority adds that 'luxury hotels and alcohol' are unlikely to be paid for.
They managed to get us in a flight on Wednesday to Brussels with a change to them go to Heathrow. Better options than a lot of people we spoke to managed.Your airline should be arranging something. Getting in touch with them of course is another matter as it’ll be similar to Covid levels of demand on the call centres I’d imagine.
Also, could you rent a car and drive back? At least to Paris or similar then train it.

We already booked our own hotel for the 2 nights and have been told to claim everything back from the airline
