Student Gumball!

The team vehicle must not have an engine size above 2.0 litres. Any team wishing to enter a vehicle over 2.0 litres will have to be approved by the Student Gumball team on a case by case basis to ensure that all the cars entered are in keeping with the spirit of the rally.
Gonna love watching plenty of Corsas entering with engine blowouts on the autobahn :p

well thats my plan for september for sure, me and 2 mates want to do the normal gumball or similar and have some cash saved up, but can do that for sure! 1.9leon diesel with revo too :D

heh, wou;d've done this in the Celica (only a 1.8, 190BHP) but all my friends graduated 3-4 years ago

Unless it's an import, i think i remember DreXeL saying his was a 1.3 on the V5 because it's an import.

do teams have to be 100% students or can alumni do it? hmm.

Each team must consist of a minimum of 2 persons and a maximum of 5 persons of which at least 2 members must be in full time university or college education OR have graduated in the last 2 years. All entrants must be over 18.

:)

It is still only 2x654cc or something. The 2.6 on V5 is rubbish.

I would like enter a porsche into the rally and I was wondering if this would be ok?

No No No. This event is about students driving student cars and so no sports cars allowed. If you are unsure about whether you can enter your vehicle then contact a member of the Student Gumball team.

Would they class my car as a sports car do you think?
