Student Gumball!

Well it looks as if they will let cars in that are greater than 2 litres, but they seem to be doing that on a case by case basis. They're just trying to keep a studenty feel to it thats all.

Interested to hear what they say to you Fox, as your car will be worth several thousands of pounds unlike mine which isn't even worth 1k.

They said the rules are there to stop people taking the mick and entering Ferrari's etc.

No chance of me getting the Hyundai in then :(

;)

Tbh i never bothered e-mailing, but clearly they'd 100% let my car in. Unfortunately my best mate goes back to uni on the 4th of September, so he wouldn't be able to come with us. So we're going to do our own little Euro road trip ourselves, stopping off at the Nurburgring for sure.

Jaguar XJ6 also approved. Am getting in contact with friends to sort this out, its looking positive though, got 2 people quite interested already...

Hopefully, because its university students/graduates only... there won't be *too* many undesireables :)

Definitely great value, with 5 people its gonna cost less than £500, and thats assuming 25MPG and lots of food and drink...

If you get like 2 other people and divide the cost, it should be good :)

Chances are i am doing this now, mums given the thumbs up, my mate is also very intreested and wants to do it.

Just gotta sort out insurance and funds (lol :( )

For the people who are gonna do this, i wanna see some posts on the road for your lappies/mobiles using thoughs millions of unsecured WAPs. I suspect there will be some funny old drunken antics going on!

Think I'll enter this next year since thats when I finish uni, seems a good way to end the year. Mates wanting to take his 530d with some people and I'll have an Integra by then so it should be a decent laugh.
Anyone here actually registered and definatly going?
