Students = Cheap windows 7

From October 1, students in the UK with a valid email address (an email address given by the college or university, e.g. [email protected]) will be able to purchase Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional for £30. The offer will run until 3 January 2010 when the prices will revert to normal.

It's also an upgrade edition (these student ones usually are) but not bad for £30.

Don't think every student gets access to MSDNAA, depends on the course/faculty. For instance at UWE I think you have to be a member of BIT.

Good offer, but anyone looking at getting this should check beforehand if they can get it from MSDN:AA.

I was all ready to drop £60 on a full version but now I found I can get it for free when I go back to Uni the week after next.

MSDNAA is only available to people on Comp Sci courses at my Uni

Oh well I guess this will do instead, gotta cancel my other order now

You'll surely still have access to your .ac.uk address, I do.

EDIT: It is just an upgrade version. Does that just mean that you wont be able to use your old copy of vista/xp on another machine as itll be tied to the upgrade. Also American students get it for $29.99 grr.
