No I didn't install it when it was purchased, was planning on waiting till i got a better computer.

There are other student deals going, apart from the official MS one.

I saw 7 pro for £40, which is only a tenner more. google 7 student discount and you should find some.

If you have access to a retail CD then you can use that instead, saved me a 4GB download. If not you'll probably have to email DR and ask for a new link.
