If this is anything like the Office Ultimate, you will need access to you ac.uk address, to get the product code. That's what I had to do. Got Office Ultimate for £40 over summer instead of like £900 =D

But yeah, got my pre-order in for Ultimate, so not fussed by this.

Does Windows 7 professional have remote desktop or do you need Ultimate for that?

You can make a connection using RDC from any version, but in order for a system to allow connections to it, it needs to be at least Pro Edition

99% of you don't need Ultimate so why is everyone faffing for Ultimate? 7 Pro is what Vista Ultimate was pretty much but I'm assuming many people don't realise this still...

Just checked my uni email (southampton) and found my MSDN:AA logon. Awesome, downloading windows 7 pro x64 for free now.

Now that is sorted we just need to find out if it is retail like www.theultimatesteal.co.uk was, or an upgrade.
