I see you have Windows 10 installed. Have you installed the Anniversary patch?

Reason being is that the patch auto-enabled Microsoft's game recording software GameDVR (their version of Shadowplay).

It apparently has been reported to cause major stutter.

To turn it off, log into the Xbox App (just start typing Xbox on the start menu search)

Sign in (will be done automatically if you normally sign into windows)

Select the Cog icon (bottom left of window)

Go to GameDVR tab and turn it off

Interesting issue that I've not seen on my similar spec systems before, but I run windows 7 still, not happy to switch to 10 yet, so it could be the OS as mentioned.

Will be interested to see the out come here.

I wasn't personally using any monitoring software before I noticed these issues. Just tried a fresh install on an SSD and will report back with findings.

Turned off The XBOX DVR as advised here too.

Please do. Let me know the results.

I've done the same as you - with the exception of having a soundblaster.

Ran my games and all seems great so far. Not tried with latencymon just yet!

Me too. Let's not say that just yet though. Latencymon still reporting issues but they are nothing compared to what happened before - so right now I'm happy.

Maybe having windows on ssd and it being fresh has helped? That's what has changed for me.

The game I was having consistent issue with was Madmax - I'd used it previously on a 760 and it ran great. With stutters off course

I didn't notice a lot wrong with the clip other than when the car hit the goat, it freezes yeah? That's the same problem I'm having, in like CSGO. At a start of a round I bump into a team mate and game stutters, like it's lagging but it's not.

I reformatted my PC which fixed the problem for like a few days, the problem came back. What the **** can it be.

More than likely the stuttering is either caused by a bad driver or software conflicting.

Is it because of my connection? This is when CSGO is open/

Used to have that ages ago, setting the pci-e to 2.0 in bios fixed it for me, although now i don't get it maybe due to having new mobo bioses since.

I reformatted my whole PC, the problem did go away but 1 week later it came back. All drivers are updated too.
