The Suarez appeal has gone to CAS. Being reported today that his international football will remain in place but his four-month suspension is likely to be reduced:

Barcelona don't get punished. They will have been pretty sure that Suarez will get the ban reduced when they bought him. The transfer ban imposed upon them is working really well. I assume that they will either have that overturned as well or it will come into play once they have finished their transfer business.

Absolute joke if this gets reduced and I find it pretty damn annoying that this idiot continues to be seen as a role model/idol to many people.
The evidence is pretty damn clear every time he's bitten someone; I don't get how you could possibly appeal and successfully reduce the ban. I'd let him appeal if he wanted, and then give a result of 'Are you ****ing stupid? 3 year ban from domestic football, 3 year ban from international football, and you can pay 50% of your transfer fee back to Barca from your own pocket. Furthermore,any wages you 'earn' while at Barca will be paid straight to a charity. Finally, once returning to football, you will be required to wear a muzzel.
