Yeah, as I said earlier in the thread its good but not even close to how good Subnautica 1 was. Theres almost no need to build a base in this one and I managed to complete Below Zero in under 8 hours because so much was given to you so easily. Theres virtually no survival element or danger really. I feel that they kind of misunderstood what made Subnautica 1 so good.

Thars a real shame if so. The map does feel much smaller than I'd expect. Putting this down to just not fully exploring yet, but I guess not.
For sure it seems they heard that the first was too vague, and it really was at a certain point, I have no idea how I'd have progressed without a youtube video telling me exactly where to go, but they've over simplified now.
