Succession

Yes. Not a bad episode. Good, but in some ways anti-climatic?

I love Tom, but mainly because of his antics with Greg, so seems odd he comes out the 'winner' and... I couldn't tell if he was being genuine saying he had Greg covered?

Yeah maybe a little.

Yeah maybe a little, in real life I don't think any of them would have ended up as CEO, but out of the lot he was probably the most competent; its clear that Kendall wasn't up to it, Roman didn't want it and Shiv ****** it (although its not like Mattson was going to give her it anyway).
I almost feel like we could easily have had another season with Tom in charge, and seeing how that goes while we see what the kids do next.

I do love Tom though (I'm a huge Matthew Macfadyen fan generally since his Spooks days), he's been one of the best characters throughout along with Greg. I think he was genuine with Greg - during this season he's been put back "in his place"

I thought the ending was great. Tom might have seemed a bit leftfield but he'd worked his way up to head of ATN and Logan clearly thought he had something about him, especially after the end of S3. Matsson clearly wanted someone who could take the fall for the restructuring of the business before bringing in his own person and Tom fit that bill.

Yeh ending was a banger. So many great scenes.
Also appreciate the length of the episodes got crazy long towards the end, might not have had a season 5 but certainly 4.5 seasons worth of content.

Worth watching the inside the episode YouTube video if your looking for a bit more on where Jessie pictures everyone post show.

All time great show? Not top 5 but probably top 10 for me.

Very hard to do a finale that tops all that's gone before, I thought it was a tad anti-climactic but it was always going to be, there's only so many ways this could have ended and still stood as a credible conclusion, given that the finale was set up to be a boardroom vote at the end of the day.

Overall a 9.5/10 show for me. Going to be a long time I think until something as good as this comes along again.

Finished this today.

S4 has been head and shoulders above the first 3 which took some doing with fantastic writing and acting, esp Tom, Shiv and Rom

Tom has Greg for sure!

Here's hoping there could be a final, final season showing the fallout of everything but it's unlikely

Finally got around to watching the last two episodes of season 4.

Can't say it captivated me the way it did in season 2 which took season one and raised it again (in parts). The acting was perhaps better, but the story was the same old rehashed stuff with a lot in there that just felt like fillers. Glad it's all over.
