Succession

Not seen any posts on this for E02 yet.

IMO Opinion followed on from E01 as being a cracking episode, this season is shaping up very well. I think some of the speculation of- how Kids vs Dad this season will be resolved came to bare in this episode as (without giving too much away) looks to be going the way we would expect it to by the end of the episode.

i.e Not all pulling in the same direction and Roman back channelling back to Dad!

Greg car crashing his way though another episode again which probably doesn't require a spoiler flag as a given ;)
 
This may be one of the rare shows that is 5 stars from start to finish if the first two episodes and critics reviews for this season are anything to go by. I always had Connor down as a slightly two dimensional comic character but the scene in the karaoke bar was superb. As was Logan addressing the newsroom.

Why do I like this show? Why? Nothing happens, nothing has happened for 4 seasons. It's just talk talk talk, insult insult insult, buzzword buzzword buzzword.
Some how it hilarious at times but so frustrating...

I do not know why I like it.

Becuase of the quality of the writing, the dialogue, the acting, the carachters the direction, etc - it's true not all that much has happened really, but it's still an awesome show, nothing happened in the Rings of Power either but that had fan-fic writing, laughable dialogue, ropey acting, terrible mis-casting and it failed in every regard as entertainment, and has gone down as an epic disaster.

You can get away with slow-loving story if you entertain every week and Succession does that.

Logan isn't dead or I still can't believe or accept it. It's some clever ploy somehow. :D

Another great episode this week, really don't think its going to go the way the end of the episode pointed towards.

I can't help but feel that the two boys are going to end up with nothing/being screwed over somehow. Shiv has a foot in herself now with Lukas and seemingly making a mends with Tom. Conner appears even more so to not be anything more then just a side story now. Still best show on TV by a factor of leagues
