Succession

Another great episode this week, really don't think its going to go the way the end of the episode pointed towards.

I can't help but feel that the two boys are going to end up with nothing/being screwed over somehow. Shiv has a foot in herself now with Lukas and seemingly making a mends with Tom. Conner appears even more so to not be anything more then just a side story now. Still best show on TV by a factor of leagues
Yep , Roman could definitely explain in his own way how things will end up .

In fact I just watched the Gamestop documentary on Sky and his voiceover was straight out of Succession. .

Must watch viewing, just waiting to see how Tom and Greg get screwed over.

I think Tom and Greg are such interesting characters. Tom, when he was dealing with Logan was a proper slimy 'yes man' with no backbone. But then he would talk to Greg and he became the bully/alpha male. Greg is that 'yes man' but doesn't do it so well, is clearly out of his depth and even when dealing with a 'lowly' video editor, just can't really become that alpha, even though he's actually a member of the boss family.

Weekly come to this thread and evangelise about the latest episode...

Incredible scenes, Shiv and Tom at the end was a tour de force performance.

This really could go any way as it stands, there not giving anything away, just building to a crescendo.

Are there actually going to be any winners?!?!?!

I'm slightly torn....

Was Shiv being sincere with her apology, at the time I thought so, whilst thinking 'Tom - what are you doing?".

Some of the best TV on right now though.

That episode was a classic, perhaps in part because it was an even more twisted reality of what happened under Trump.

Can't believe there's just one more left.

I see why they felt it was a good time to end but also feel like I could watch these characters be awful forever.

Have to echo thoughts on Tom and Shivs scenes being absolutely amazing to watch. Both actors have clearly given it everything this season.

The battle line's have been drawn... Which way is it going to go!

Another superb episode with, as usual, a plethora of fantastic lines.

Each of the kids played pretty much into thier pigeon holes setup over the series.

Roman cracking when pressure yurned up, Shiv scheming to her advantage, Kendell stepping in and seemingly the "closest" to emulate dad, Connor being Conner!

Bring on next week

It's been an interesting transition from the guy in Season 1, right? He is actually 'getting there' now...
Appears to be...but is that going to be enough to prevail in the last episode?

I've got a feeling there is a dark horse whose going to come out of apparently nowhere. Doesn't feel quite right for any of the kids to prevail given all that has gone before! We will see....

Depressing episode but no doubt on of the best in the series. So many good lines, little touches like Connor knowing about the mausoleum.
It was so good seeing a lot of the old cast/side characters come back as well. James Cromwell should easily be Emmy nomination for his scene alone, He was saying on the podcast that he had long covid during the whole shoot too.

I do miss Logan though, Brain Cox was an absolute unit in this show.

Another little nugget from the podcast was that to minimise leaks they replaced Logans name with Ewans to make it out that Ewan was the one that had died.
