Really hope that isn't true, seems like there are rumours about several of our youngsters leaving (there was one a few weeks ago about Fryers as well)
reports eminating out of Italy are suggesting Juve have agreed with Paul Pogba's agent to sign him in the summer![]()
Ignore my previous post as I get the whole 25 man squad thing now and the dates that define you as an under 21 player what I have realised though is that we're going to have a real problem buying anyone in the summer without letting anyone go (it's pretty much a situation that for every player we buy we've got to sell someone). The only player we wont have to register for next season PL is Jones but from what I understand he will need to be registered for the UCL. Our squad of players that need to be registered for next season:
De Gea, Lindegarrd, Amos
Rafael, Fabio, Smalling, Ferdinand, Evans, Vidic, Evra (Jones)
Valencia, Nani, Young, Park, Cleverley, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Anderson, Fletcher
Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck, Berbatov, Owen
One would imagine we'll have to let Owen go to make room for just 1 signing, unless he's happy being keep around but not registered to actually play in any competition![]()
Will Scholes be around next season?
Will Fletcher be registered?
Boyata won't be leaving but the rest will. Along with Weiss.Be interesting to see what dead weight Man City get rid of in the summer
Tevez, Adebayor, Boyata, RSC, Bridge should save a few quid a week in wages to get another couple of big names in. I'm going to go on record an say Van Persie and Bale will be their big summer targets (yes I may be crazy)
EDIT: Of course the other option is that we only sign players who are 20 or under in the summer so no to Gaitan yes to Gotze![]()

Surprise surprise
David Platt: Hey boss who you thinking of signing this summer?
Mancini: Dunno Dave, who are United looking at?
David Platt: Well there's that lad from Benfica according to the papers....
Mancini: Get Benfica on the phone!!!
Editor: What good players are clubs looking at this summer.
Reporter: There is a lad at Benfica that utd are looking at.
Editor: Link him with City as well, fill out the paper. No point doing some actual work.
Shocker as two teams who are going for the same competitions want to sign the best players.
You're in serious denial if you cant admit that a lot of your recent signings were linked with us first; Silva? Check. Dzeko? Check. Nasri? Check. Gaitan (if you do sign him)? Check. Sanchez (not that he ever wanted to sign for you)? Check.
It's not simply a case of two teams at a similar standing being interested in the same players as you're not seeing Chelsea being linked with them as well.
