If Arsenal sign him he will be a good player to play against the big boys and in the champions League. He may not cope too well during Dec in the snow away to Stoke!

With 8 goals in the cl I beg to differ. That's 8 in his whole spell at real. If there's one thing that I remember of this player is the easy chances he fluffs.

Hernandez was only behind Ronaldo, Messi and Gomez for goals per minute on the pitch for players over 10 goals last season.

I wouldn't swap Hernandez for Higuain. Hernandez is absolute quality and worked perfectly with RVP (funny how RVP's dip came at the time Rooney came back in over Hernandez, right?)

Higuain is good though, last season he managed to score quite a high number of goals and get assists without playing as well as he has in the past (which is where the criticisms have come from.)

Agreed, it is one of the reasons I'm not that arsed if Rooney leaves, I want to see Hernandez get lots more game time.

if hernandez wasn't always offside he would score so many more goals ,he has great awareness and movement to drift off defenders but not sure if he brings enough to the table for united

So he has great awareness and movement yet is always offside
:p

Anyway, apparently Inter and Juve want Kolarov, both offered 10m euros!
A few independent journalists saying Isco deal is done as well, not sure if it will be announced in the next few days or we will wait till he gets back off holiday. Either way we will see what happens.

Reports in Spain claim Sevilla winger Luis Alberto has arrived in England to undergo a medical at Liverpool. Liverpool are believed to have agreed a fee of €8million (£6.8million) with Sevilla with the player expected to sign a four-year deal.

Hoping that goes through. I've not seen much of him, but all the talk is positive. It's exciting to see us finally buying some interesting players from abroad.

Glad to hear that the deal for Higuain is more or less done, £130k a week with a £22mill transfer fee is good business. Just hope next season he scores 20+ goals, we desperately need another Bergkamp/Henry/RVP type of player and sadly as good as Giroud was last season, he really missed some sitters. The one against Bayern is one that particularly sticks with me.

With Pod on the left, Higuain in the middle and Walcott on the right...thats a decent looking attack along with Carzola and Wilshere in the middle...well depending on how fit Wilshere is lol.

Would like us to bag Fellaini, need someone with presence in the midfield ie Viera type of player. And Ashley Williams i know is another we are interested in and hes pretty decent for a centre half. Sanogo is another one we have tied up from what i have read, young player so maybe Wenger wants to develop him..probably see him in the CC Cup if he has signed for us.

Id like us to get a decent RB in as well but i think Sagna is sticking around for another season:(....im hoping Jenks starts more next season because he was definitely better than Sagna last season.

Any player in the mould of Hernandez will get caught offside quite a bit. It's no big deal.

+1

Linesmen get caught out by his speed of movement all the time - a number of games last season where he was proven to be onside (after the fact) but he was so quick to react - as he should be - they gave offside decisions against him.

He would be a big loss to the squad if he were to leave, I just hope Moyes uses him more often next season. With a reasonable amount of games / minutes he would easily get 20+ goals a season regular as clockwork.

Thing is with hernandez he is very limited. yes he is fast and can tap some goals in.

Guess what, so is Neymar, except neymar has skill and can and also does score wondergoals.

Hernandez cannot be a first or second choice striker for UTD as he just doesnt offer enough on the ball. Supersub maybe to attack a stretched backline of the opposition, for anything else, there are better players who will contribute more and help to score more goals that way:/

So in NickG's world we should never have bought De Gea, we should sell Hernandez, buy Neymar, Stekelenburg and N'Zogbia and we're good to go?
