This windows is officially the most frustrating ever!!! Made even worse by the fact we obviously have plenty of money spare.

Dont worry Cliff, according to SSN Wenger has said regarding transfers...its a long but slow process :/...so are we at snails pace then Wenger??:p.

Haha!

I like this quote

"United would much rather sell the 27-year-old to the Gunners than to Chelsea – because they do not see them as genuine title rivals."

A cheeky kick in the manhood for wenger...

LOL what makes me laugh is that IF we got Rooney, then we would be up there fighting for the title;)...Rooney would be a monster at Arsenal, he would be the main man as he wants to be and wouldnt be playing second fiddle to anyone.
So Arsenal stop wasting time on Suarez, bid £40mill for Rooney and see what happens...seriously do it, who knows it might pique Utds interest to sell him. And its not like we are going to lose anything in the process, we already have wasted a monumental waste of time on Suarez..might as well waste some more for Rooney:p

Apparently now Suarez is saying he isn't desperate to leave, quick change of tune

LOL source??, wouldnt surprise me if he has changed his tune as he knows he has absolutely no leg to stand on...Liverpool have got him hook, line and sinker and that makes me a happy gooner as we wont have to be dealing with his crap this season.

Fingers crossed Suarez stays put, excellent player but marred by his stinking attitude.

We won't sell Rooney unless we can secure a really superb player as his replacement, whether keeping him would be a wise move would remain to be seen, but there aren't many better players (if any) available on the market than Rooney.

That was because our main opposition had shockers at various points in the season and both had worse managers last season. We have also lost Scholes who steadied the ship. If you think we will win the league with the squad we have at the moment then I think you are deluded.

You can only beat whats in front of you, and that's what happened last year. I never said we will the league but we wont be far away with this squad. Scholes is my hero, but he didnt play a lot last year epscially since february when he picked up the knee injury.

I dont see us battering teams, but i dont see us conceding a lot of goals either, and if you dont concede you dont get beat. A lot of 1-0, 2-0 wins for us this year.

To say the squads poor doesnt reflect where we are, its a lot stronger than it was 2/3 years ago.

Plus I dont see us letting Rooney go without a replacement being signed, its just a matter of time.

Why not bid for Suarez?

If he wasn't such a tool I'd be happy with us doing so. :p

Agreed, there's just no way they could allow it. We're going to have to start paying for players though, as in, if we did want a player of Fabregas/Rooney kind of quality, we need to be happy to spend well upwards of £40m, no skimping.

He did another paper interview think was marca, still hopes for a solution to move but isn't desperate now

I doubt there is any truth in this but it would certainly be the icing on the cake to end a horrible summer

Arsenal are very close to making experienced Romanian striker Ciprian Marica their second signing of the summer, according to the player’s agent.
