Spurs linked with £30m Willian

Can we say Bye Bye Bale yet?

Really feel for Rene Meulensteen, only lasted 16 days! And booted by clueless Moyles too.

Huh, he was offered a position at the club but decided not to take it as far as I know.

He wasn't booted by Moyes at all. As Moyes has said many times, he wanted to keep Rene on and had offered that.

Rene himself decided it wouldn't be 'fair' on Moyes for him to linger around and it seems he wanted to develop his career further (to being a manager).

Also, seems Baines isn't on. Martinez saying again that a club bid in June (us), but that it was a 'final' offer, seemingly that as rumoured we wouldn't go any higher and that was that - no contact since apparently.

Is this because LFC are in for him?

Can the spuds not find an of their own targets?

They really infuriate me.

^Blame Wenger for thinking Liverpool would have given up the best striker in the PL. It looks like Giroud will do rather good and I have no idea how good Sanogo is.
You should be worried about Tottenham, they were strong and now they've got more signings and rumoured to be getting more players.

Regarding the Chelsea manager topic, AVB was their best manager since Jose.

Thats true regarding Spurs. But Wenger keeps banging on about you can only field 11 players on the pitch!

Sky Sports understands Hull City have agreed a £5million deal with Tottenham Hotspur for Tom Huddlestone, which will also cover the loan signing of his fellow midfielder Jake Livermore. Both players are due to discuss terms with Hull today and could undergo medicals.

If Parker goes today too... Exciting.

Really? Who's that consist of then?

All still depends on Bale of course. Maybe I was a little hasty in saying game changing, more game finishing (which we were always bad at before)

1. Lloris
2. Walker
3. Dawson
4. Vertonghen
5. Rose
6. Lennon
7. Bale
8. Sandro
9. Dembele
10. Paulinho*
11. Soldado*

12. Chadli*
13. Holtby
14. Kaboul
15. Defoe
16. Sigurdsson
17. Carroll/Townsend
18. Capoue*

If we're winning with the first 11 players then Kaboul, Capoue and Holtby solidify the defence and midfield

If we're losing then Defoe is still a threat if he gets a good amount of game time as a sub, Siggy has popped up several times to score a vital goal and Chadli is untested as yet but could be useful.

It's only my opinion of course but I believe we have spent very well so far this transfer market but as said before it all depends on the Bale situation.

You have Holtby twice ;)

I am looking for him to have a good season tbh, really like him, take away one holtby and include Tom Carroll.

Also Rose at LB leaves me "angry and confused"
