I think Fellaini and Baines will happen, perhaps for more than we'd ideally want to pay, but we are better with them than without.
I actually like Evra though, but he has been a bit iffy in recent times.

I'd hope Bale is staying but if it means we bring in Willian and Lamela as well that can't be all that bad. What is this Coentrao like? Is he actually any good?
My fear is that we're bringing in too many fresh faces. If we bring in those three as well, that's seven new signings in total. Pretty much a complete overhaul of the starting XI.
Why not? I have seen nothing to suggest Tottenham are even talking to Real Madrid, especially with this mornings articles from Raul, which is another blatent attempt by Real to unsettle Bale and force Spurs to lower their asking price.

The boy has mad dribbling skills sometimes but as you say, defensively he is suspect a lot of the time. A lot of it just seems laziness as well. He will stay too far from his man till the guy starts running at goal instead of coming out to meet him.
I think with Cesar its a case of his wages, hes on around £80k a week at QPR iirc. Still £80k a week for a world class keeper is pretty good, i could understand if he wanted or was on £100k a week but pretty sure hes happy staying on £80k a week and last i heard is that he wants to stay in London so Arsenal would be a great fit for him plus he would be cheap as chips on a transfer fee....around a few mill if i heard correctly. Dont know why Wenger wont go in for him, Chesney is good but i dont have a lot of faith in him and neither with Fabianski. At least with Cesar he would give them some real competition and we would have a world class keeper in goal for us...someone who makes some absolutely stunning saves. Think thats the problem with Wenger, time and time again he sticks by players who really arent showing any improvement :/.
One good thing is that this morning according to SSN is that Ramsey, Gibbs, Rosicky, Sagna and a couple of others are back in full training ahead of the CL qualifier on Wed. So should be more or less back to full strength really but im still dreading that game unless we really turn it up a notch and give Fenerbache a good ole spanking.
From what i have seen of him at Real, he really isnt that good..hes ok but hes too error prone for my liking.
I think it's based on what a pundit said, can't remember which one but I suspect Shearer, saying that if Real were serious and had the money then the deal would be sealed already but because Spurs supposedly want all the cash up front it is an indicator that Real don't have the cash. That coupled with the apparent fact that we're still invoicing them for Modders.
Hmm do we really want him then? Sure Willian and Lamela would be more than enough to finish our supermarket sweep and we should just hope to break even by cashing in on Bale.
