Ah well, we signed Kompany today, but he's injured so didn't train. He'll mark Benzema out of the game and Eto'o (who is due to land at Leeds Bradford this evening to join up with the squad tomorrow) will bang the goals in :D

Yet to be confirmed to the media though, which is odd.

Actually my friend of a friend of a friend saw Ronaldo talking to Wenger last night about a potential move and also Higuain is now a Gunner because he was walking around the Emirates going ooooh such a shiny new stadium.

Twitter i never pay any attention to, its full of **** most of the time.

Im really hoping all these signings that the Spuds have done this summer, fail miserably...first test is this sunday;):p

Noo don't apply rawk rules or this thread wouldn't be as much fun! It's what keeps us entertained when the football ends plus cm can't say how amazing spurs are otherwise :p

De boer commented this morning that the deal to spurs was all but completed. Straight from Ajax's mouth... Just need Chelsea to come in now and snaffle another player from under Spurs' nose

Edit- the twitter rumours would be predicated on those comments from Ajax presumably.

It's not even that, the problem is it's posted as if it's fact.

If it's posted with a twitter source and whatever, fine, it can be dismissed etc. But when people (cm) come in and talk of it as fact etc, it's just ****.

It's just like when he posts an entire article of **** and doesn't highlight any key points or lift it - it's just pointless and adding nothing.

I think just make a rule that if you're posting a rumour, cite the source in the post (with twitter/source name etc).

Then people can discuss from that. Rather than coming in going 'X, Y, Z is happening, FACT MATE'.
