I've never met a non-Arsenal fan who doesn't hate them tbh!...but then that is mainly due to their fans being thoroughly unpleasant the last few times they have been down here. The last time was bad!

Can't argue with that, but both city and Chelsea make man utd seem like a likable / organic team, most 2nd teams are done on a underdog/merit value... Then again it was always the thing you do in your youth.

Everyone supported Liverpool and Arsenal when I was a kid, United fans used to be mocked for supporting a good cup team :/

This doesn't need explaining again Andy. G|mp doesn't follow more than 1 team at once, he changes each season. That's acceptable where as having a 2nd team isn't.

Leeds fans admire but dislike Arsenal somewhat, for always putting us in a position where we had to either win them the league or get relegated.

Bloody twice we won at Arsenal, and that nobber Kewell scored one of the best ever Prem goals.

Man Utd is my 1st team but Spurs is my 2nd team purely for the fact my cousins support Spurs even though the whole family's always lived in Greater Manchester lol.

The vast majority of people I know, in several different clubs I've played for, would pick Arsenal or Chelsea as their second team.

Who said it was a small world ? My second side for instance are Man U and if I'm being honest I have no idea why must go back to the Cole and Yorke show and more recently the young Rooney/Ronnie show

Soton is my second team. My best mate is a Soton fan and I lived down there for 6 years so I've watched them a fair bit. I don't see why it's an issue?

I don't have a second team, but generally out of the big teams I want Utd to win(mid 90's, not supporting a prem team it had to be really), and I go out of my way to check how Gillingham are doing.

You can't have a second team in the same league!
