Okay yeah you're boring me again now

Ah ok.
Still, it is plausible they spoke to him.

It isn't completely out of the blue either, I think this deal is very much on the cards and I think only some serious interest from Real will turn it. Perez said the other day they hadn't spoke to him so they are probably looking elsewhere.

I really really don't want him at arsenal. Aside from Rooney and that french kid it's been depressingly quiet on the Arsenal front.

There were those Higuain rumours/quotes the other day. Things are usually kept under wraps until players are unveiled as signed, so even if we're after a higher calibre of player than in the past few years, I wouldn't expect the club to conduct it's business any differently.

Kenwright basically pimped him out in the press conference so I wouldn't be surprised if there are a number of clubs who've already rang to ask about the release clause and the price, and Kenwright just said it to get a few more parties involved.

Same here, fat, unprofessional, would command stupidly large wages and at the moment doesn't have the same magic that he has had in the past. That Sanogo kid might be an alright signing though, depends on whether he wants to be the next Diaby or not, the scary thing is he actually namedropped Diaby when he talked to the media about joining Arsenal. :D

Apparently Arsenal have triggered Fellaini's 22m release clause. Be a good signing if they got him.

In what way, the fact that twice a season we'd have less cheating to deal with from the opposition, sure, worth 22mil, not a chance.

He's not great defensively, he's pretty much a thug that can only at some stage be targetted by the ref's for all his crap, he's not a great goal scorer, he had his first patch of "good" form in the first third of the season where he was scoring. he got 11 for the season, 8 in the first half, a very poor second half to the season, and afaik that is the second of 5 seasons he's scored over 3 goals, which isn't particularly impressive.

He's not a striker, he's not a defensive midfielder, he's not really a support striker or midfield playmaker.

Arsenal have Wilshire and Santi, who are categorically better than Fellani in midfield, he was better in the first half of last season because he played as a striker much more the half of the season, 8 goals for the utter domination(and cheating, and elbows) isn't particularly brilliant. Arsenal need a rock solid striker, and better wide players, we don't need a midfielder outside of rotation/back up and replacements for Rosicky and Diaby, even then Wenger doesn't want to get rid of those two.

For me Fellani is another player who doesn't have a clear role, and excels at nothing(beyond being a vicious pratt), there are MUCH better strikers, better defensive midfielders, better offensive midfielders.

I'd take Fellani before Rooney, but money on either is a complete waste.
