Thing is with playing Milner at LB is he brings you that composure of a midfielder when Liverpool have the ball. With Klopp playing a passing game with the ball he's usually like in a left midfield position or winger position even a lot of the time, it actually works pretty well i think. That Keita looks a bit rugged, a good athlete though, 70m is a lot tbf

And thats what worries me the most about the whole Keita thing. Admittedly I dont know how much budget we have to spend but it seriously concerns me that after spending 35m on a midfielder/forward in Salah, spending another 70m on another midfielder in Keita leaves us hugely lacking in funds to buy decent defenders. I simply do not feel that we needed to spend 100m on non-defenders when every bone in my body screams out that if anything we need to spend 100m on the defence and then spend whatever leftover on other positions, not the other way around.

Of course, that could all be moot, it could be that after spending 100m on non-defensive positions that we actually have loads left in the budget, I'm just basing it on the pre-summer rumours of us having something around the 100m mark to spend.
 
There wasn't really an ideal time for Gomez to come in though really. If he gets through pre season I can see him playing more games.

Moreno wont stay, I bet anyone a quid on that.

I felt there was near end Milner looked spent and gomez can play left back. I'm not convinced much will happen in defence I mean we some how gave lovren a new deal so maybe we like our bat **** daft defence

I imagine we will go in for Robertson for the lb slot to be honest and I still think we will sign a cb. Long way to go in the window.
 
So Arsenal have told Lyon they will pay £45mill plus add ons for Lacazette.

Hopefully this won't drag on too long, either we just pay up and get him or forget and move on.

Alexis has now said he has made up his mind about where he will play next season. Won't say where until after the confederations cup final on Sunday.

If he has decided to go then hopefully it will be Bayern rather than City. But no bids have been received for Sanchez from either clubs or any club for that matter.

I do hope he stays but I won't blame him if he goes. But at least the saga of him staying or going will be decided after Sunday.

Ozil being another one that needs to be dealt with as well.
 
I didnt think this Lacazette was a 50m striker, hope i'm wrong. He smashed the goals in last season though, didn't sulk about not getting a big move, carried on playing his football, that's good mentality, hopefully he'll work hard for the team. looks pretty certain to happen as well, bbc & sky sports reporting it
 
Also rumours rumbling that we are going to make a play for Lemar of Monaco, who just happens to be a left winger.

If that's true then it could be to fill the position if Sanchez is leaving.

TBH never heard of Lemar so not sure how good he is, if at all.

Also Gazidis has begged Arsenal fans to get behind Wenger for this season. And has said we will be making a few quality signings this summer. I'll believe it when I see it but seeing as we are stuck with Wenger for a couple more seasons, I'll support the team like I always have and will.
 
Mahrez is another option supposedly as is Cudrado.

Really wish we were keeping Sanchez tho. :(

But he is 29 and in the final year of his contract. If we can get the rumoured £50 mill then that's good business at least.
