Don't you see how silly your post is? Clearly stating how good Schmeichel and De Gea both were but disagree on one player and its 'hatred to anything manu' lol

Also as Baz has stated, its clearly very complimentary of those players in front of him also those stats :)
 
Haha, I didn't read that part. You could understand if I was comparing him unfavourably to non Utd players but I was bigging up other Utd players! :o For the record @adam cool dude I've previously, on many ocassions, said that Schmeichel is the best keeper in PL history and my reasoning for calling VDS overrated is because of a few Utd fans mentioning VDS in the same breath as him. As I said, he was a reliable PL keeper but he was a country mile behind the best PL keepers, including De Gea at his best but by your reasoning, he must be rubbish as he didn't break any clean sheet records and hasn't won much.
 
Bit of a weird argument. VDS was a very good keeper, not world class like his Dutch compatriot Sander Westerveld, but still very good.

Guessing the Sarr talk has finally died down for us?

Ryan Giggs was never the best even in his own team but to consistantly give 8/9 out of ten performances is very important especially over a twenty year career. I see VDS in a similar light to that which has its own virtues.

Is Jordan Henderson a better player than Paul Pogba? Not really but when Henderson can perform 8/9 out of ten every game he is a far more valuable asset to the team.

Looks that way, probably was all smoke and mirrors by his agent to try and goad someone into making a bid for him. To be honest, I reckon our incomings are done now with that Jota transfer being the last one, I reckon we'll ship out 2 or 3 and then that will be it for this transfer window. Happy with Tsimikas, Thiago and Jota though, a defender, a midfielder and a forward, nice balanced spread of positions covered.
 
Sarr's not happening and I get the feeling he was just a smoke screen to help our negotiations with Wolves. The rumour always felt a bit weird because of AFCON.

Your Henderson comment sums up what I mean. As reliable and consistent as Henderson has been, he's not in the same bracket as a Gerrard, Keane or Vieira. Similiarly Phil Neal is probably Liverpool's most decorated player, playing throughout the period we dominated Europe but, imo, he wasn't good enough to be talked about amongst Liverpool's greatest ever defenders. VDS was a decent keeper and may have played for a number of years longer than x but he wasn't close to reaching the level they reached.
 
Ndidi is out for 12 weeks so I'm guessing Leicester will be shopping for a DM. (we were rubbish last season when he was out of the team). Why did we ever sell Kante?
 
yes, but we need more than 1 if we're supposed to be doing Europa league too. When Ndidi got crocked we really struggled last year and there was no EL to worry about!
 
he's ok, and he can get himself into reasonable positions at times. Thug? No. Clumsy? Yes. Hence my concern about only having him as if a double yellow or straight red ensues...

Yea no sorry but you cant excuse his challenges as clumsy. The one alone on Salah last season was disgraceful, it wasnt clumsy, he knew exactly what he was doing. The lads a thug.

But aren't we being told that in the post-truth angry millenial world all white people are automatically inherently and incurably racist while it's impossible for anyone else to be? Therefore Choudray can't be labelled a racist unless he's asked for people to endorse his decision to self-define as one, which to my knowledge he hasn't.

That couple with his lack of sympathy for people who commit suicide and the women's football comments are enough to make me think he's a complete tool. I wasnt making racist jokes at 16 tbh.

Whether you think he's a racist or not doesnt change that he's a thug.
 
I don't think anything. I'm not his agent and couldn't care what you or others think about him. I don't know him and by the sound of it probably don't want to look into his twitter feed. Back on topic: My concern is Ndidi being out and not having cover.
